Who am I
For more than 30 years, my professional journey has revolved around one simple objective: creating value.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of building businesses, managing capital, leading thousands of client relationships, and witnessing how value can be created—and just as quickly disappear. Markets rise and fall, companies evolve, and capital comes and goes.
When Cuprum Coin revealed the potential of connecting advanced materials with digital infrastructure, I realized I no longer wanted to build something whose value depended solely on market cycles. I wanted to create something capable of generating lasting value—for myself, for investors, for scientists, for strategic partners, and for future generations.
That realization became the foundation of Materra.
Today, I’m building a UAE-based deep technology platform operating at the intersection of nanoscience, advanced manufacturing, and digital infrastructure. Through proprietary nanomaterials, scientific commercialization, and Real-World Asset (RWA) infrastructure, Materra is creating the foundations for a new generation of scientifically verified digital commodities and industrial innovation.
Following service on the front lines during the Croatian War of Independence 🇭🇷, I built businesses in the automotive industry before entering financial markets in 2003, eventually serving as Branch Manager at one of Croatia’s leading brokerage firms, where I spent years working with institutional and private investors, capital markets, and long-term value creation.
Today, as a member of Dubai Founders HQ under the D33 Economic Agenda 🇦🇪, my focus is on expanding Materra as a sovereign-aligned scientific commercialization platform, working alongside leading researchers, universities, institutions, and strategic partners to transform scientific innovation into real-world industrial and financial value.
Materra operates through Materra Labs FZ-LLC, established within Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), providing the institutional foundation for scientific research, premium nanomaterial production, commercialization, and future Real-World Asset infrastructure.
I don’t simply aspire to build another company.
I aspire to build an ecosystem capable of creating lasting value long after any individual—including myself—has stepped away.
