FED leave rates unchanged at 0,5%
While the USD is on his knees before a decision, is there any possiblity from FED to hike the rates today? Well, the market is not expecting that move for sure, but the FED’s monetary policy statement could be a hint when something like that could happen and is it December a month for that decision!? There is no press conference today from Yellen and that’s why you should be even more careful, the market players could interpret the details from statement in various ways. Sure, the US presidential elections and current pools are the main reason of the US dollar weakness in the last couple of days, but still… This is an important event for the same.

Update: FED leave rates unchanged at 0,5% with 2-8 voted for hikes!!!
Voting for the FOMC monetary policy action were: Janet L. Yellen, Chair; William C. Dudley, Vice Chairman; Lael Brainard; James Bullard; Stanley Fischer; Jerome H. Powell; Eric Rosengren; and Daniel K. Tarullo. Voting against the action were: Esther L. George and Loretta J. Mester, each of whom preferred at this meeting to raise the target range for the federal funds rate to 1/2 to 3/4 percent.
